How much does it cost to join?
There is no fee to participate in the Research Poster Program. However, some conferences you choose to present at may have their own registration costs.
Can I do the program with friends?
Yes! Your group will be made up of students who sign up for the same topic. If you’d like to do the program with friends, make sure you all register for the same topic when sign-ups open.
Do I need prior research experience?
No! Our program is designed for students of all levels. We provide mentorship, resources, and step-by-step guidance so you can succeed even if it’s your first time doing research.
How long is the program?
The Research Poster Program typically runs for half a year, culminating in a polished, conference-ready poster. Weekly meetings keep you on track from start to finish.
Who can join Florida MedConnect’s Research Poster Program?
Our program is open to high school, college, and post-graduate students who are passionate about research in medicine and healthcare.
How are research topics chosen?
All topics are created by professors in their respective fields of research, ensuring credibility and relevance. You’ll select a topic from our curated list once you join.
