CO-PRESIDENT

Shivanshu Kumar

As President of Florida MedConnect, Shivanshu Kumar leads with the belief that every student—no matter their background—deserves the chance to explore, create, and excel in academic medicine. Drawing on years of experience in research, leadership, and mentorship, he has built programs that connect students with physicians, guide them through the research process, and open doors to conferences and publications that once felt out of reach. Shivanshu is deeply involved in every stage of the journey, from helping students shape their first project idea to celebrating their work on national and international stages.

For him, Florida MedConnect is more than an organization—it’s a launchpad for future healthcare leaders. He strives to create an environment where students not only gain skills and experience, but also the confidence to make their voices heard in medicine. Through mentorship, resources, and a commitment to collaboration, Shivanshu invites every aspiring healthcare professional to step forward, take on challenges, and turn their vision into impact.
